The outside walls are made of metal and might look a bit harsh, but the homes are actually beautiful inside.
“The reflective walls and insulated windows ensure the heat is reflected and thus keeping the cabins cool even during summer. The interiors have been made with plywood which has kept the cost of the house low. The slanted roofs have water barrels that can hold up to 50,000 gallons of rainwater,” explained the architect.
Common Areas
Designed to ensure that they get to spend time together despite having their own busy schedules, the best friends created a communal kitchen where they cook and eat together. This space also features an extra guest bedroom that can be used by family or friends who come to visit them.
This kitchen features a clear-glass fridge, a commercial range, and other large, stainless-steel appliances designed for heavy duty use.
