Couple Builds 2-Story Dream House from Earnings as OFWs

Every one of us have dreams for ourselves and our families – and most of us dream of building a home. For overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) Ricky Jay Javate and Sharmaine Fernandez Mamaril, this dream would soon become a reality after both working as factory workers in Taiwan for 3 years.

The Dream

Even though they are not married yet, Ricky and Sharmaine dreamed of building a house to call their own from the fruits of their labor. So, they bought a lot even at the time when they were jobless and unsure whether they could pay for it.

But as they both found a job as factory workers in Taiwan, they promised themselves that building their dream house would be their main goal.
